Title: Have that old tiny blues again
Post by: rawe on July 29, 2007, 09:29:12 PM

Hello,
I have to ask for some help.
Here is my problem:

I moved to another Server and want to install smf 1.1.3 and TP 0983 manual. ThatÃ,´s what IÃ,´m trying to do now for 3 days. The smf installation worked out fine, but when I install TP, IÃ,´ll see something like this or something else:

       --------------------------------------------------------------
Warning: require_once(/is/htdocs/wp1079941_JLBBRGIJWR/www/morgen-licht/forum/Sources/TPortal.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /is/htdocs/wp1079941_JLBBRGIJWR/www/morgen-licht/forum/index.php on line 55

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/is/htdocs/wp1079941_JLBBRGIJWR/www/morgen-licht/forum/Sources/TPortal.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear/php5') in /is/htdocs/wp1079941_JLBBRGIJWR/www/morgen-licht/forum/index.php on line 55
        ----------------------------------------------------------
IÃ,´ve been reading the the installation instruction more than twice and tried to install often. But no Results.

At my last server I had  nearly exactly the same problem.
And I had to ask here for help.
The problem was fixed for me by one of the team-members, but I forgot to ask, what exactly was wrong and how she fixed it.
So I have to ask you people again.
Could anybody please help me?
I can send needed data in a PM.

The errors you recieve indicates that the files and or folders are not writable, you need to change the permissions for the files so the script can read them

Change the permissions on the folder Sources and then the TPortal.php to 755 or 777 depending on your host setup.
If that doesent help, you need to replace the Tportal.php file in the sources directory and then make sure the code you need to add to the SMF files are added to the files according to the mod instructions in the documentations we have here.

I already looked before for the file TPortal.php. Just canÃ,´t find it.
In witch folder should it originally be?

Just what i wrote, In your Sources directory
If you cant find it there, we have solved the problem, you need to upload the files from the manuall install package so they are precent in the folders

You are right.
The files in my Tp-manual folder were not complete. IÃ,´ve down- and uploaded all the files again and have to add the code now.
Thank you
