Title: Download Manager upload timeout
Post by: layne on July 14, 2007, 09:17:37 PM
So I'm trying to upload a file through the download manager, as a test to make sure it'll work for my members, and I keep getting an error message.  I've had a couple other members mention this too.  I have the file size set to an appropriate size, and I've got another site hosted on the same server that regularly has member uploads (http) much larger than what I'm trying to do here (so I don'[t think it could be a server setting). I've got the filesize limit in TP DL Manager set to 6mb, but the file that's timing out is only 2.7mb.  Is there a timeout setting somewhere else in the TP php files or SMF that could be causing the error and not allowing the file to finish uploading? I can't just use the ftp function, because I can't give all my members ftp access to upload. besides, that would defeat the purpose of the upload permission. HELP!

This is something you need to contact your host about.
It's not something you can set with in TP if your host have a file limit set on the server for 2mb (most hosts have like that)
So you have to ask them to change the settings for you on the server.
