hi, i would like to translate tp v0.9.8. i just need some lights on what files to translate, how and to who do i send them after.
i noticed there is an untranslated version for pt-pt (TP_098_portuguese_UNTRANSLATED.zip) or is it pt-br?
please, help me to help TP

You can download the English translation from the downloadsection. ERxtract the files and these will be the ones you change to your language.

the strings in them look like this

$txt['tphelp_introduction']= 'Introduction';

And it's the text in between the

'Introduction';

that you change, the first part of the string need to be what they are, or else the script will not know what it shoud fetch when it's called in the forum and portal.

i'm already translating, i have a doubt
i opened with wordpad and sometime i see spaces betwen word ex: "Simple Machines Forum that will expand it    with a frontpage" is it a paragraph? should i make this spaces too?

if there is spacing you should leave the spacing in your translation to.

but i am translating and opening in firefox to see the changes and everything looks normal without the spacings =X i'll keep going this way.. thnks*
