After installing Tiny Portal with SMF 1.1 RC1 (package manager installed it for me), I get this error on my forum's index.php:

Search: 168 and you will find a lot of answers ;-)
I would try a reinstall of the mod. It seems your files didn't get modified properly. If that doesn't work you may want to try the manual install posted in the beta testing forum.

Problems with what? You'll need to be more specific if you want some help.
The TP Helios works fine, if i instal the files over ftp.
But: if i install the Tiny Portal, these not works with the TP Helios, just with the Default Theme. i Have install smf now for the 7 time... :(
If tinyportal is working on your default theme then it is not a problem with SMF. It is a problem with your themes. Make sure you download the proper themes that have been converted for Tinyportal. They are located here:

Yes.. i have instal the: TP_helios_multi11_rc1.zip
But there is no Tiny Portal :(
Right now, i try to install that again ;)
one more question: The TP Helios i instal over the Style in the adminarea and if some problems (maybe error 168), once again over ftpÂÃ, ;) .. and after them Tiny Portal over the Packagemanager?

why doesn't it find the tportal function? Where should it get installed?
Did you have any failures during install? It seems to me something is happening in the file copy/editing process. I don't know enough about it to pin point exactly what is going on. Have you guys tried the manual install?
i got the same error. it installs fine, never encountering any errors at any point, until I click on "restart forum" and then it bombs and gives that error.
what do we need to do for the manual install? does that consist of running the .php script after uploading the "files only" version of tp?

You may just have to upload the files if the install went fine. Give it a shot and see if it works.
For the manual install that's exactly what you do. Upload the files and execute the install script.
got it to work, just overwrote the files using the file only upload. thanks alot :)
