my name is Ralph and IÃ,´m new here.
I tried to install TP now for abaout 10 times and Istill donÃ,´t get it working.

Just get this note:

Install / Upgrade TinyPortal v0.9.8 beta

    * Upshrink table created
    * Settings table created
    * Settings table updated
          o Added 98 new setting(s)
    * Blocks table created.
          o some sample values were added to the blocks table
    * Variables table created.
          o some sample values were added to the variables table
    * Articles table created.
          o some sample values were added to the articles table
    * DL manager table created
    * Shoutbox table created

TinyPortalÃ,´s table structure is now installed/updated.
Please restart your forum to see the changes.

Please give us some more information on how you are trying to install TP

Do you install through the package manager ? And if so, what package do you use ?

If you use the package manager and get this blank page after the install, download the manuall package and upload all the files from that package manually, then read the documentation on modinstruction and check so you have the code added to the SMF files properly.

No, I didÃ,´nt use the Package Manager, Ã,´cause that donÃ,´t work at all.
I have loaded the hole folder TP_0983 into my forum directory, using FileZilla.
Do I have to go on with the Code Modification?

Well, I did evrything as it was recommended. Loading up the manual install files and changed the code. But nothing changed on my forum.Meanwhile IÃ,´m quite mad about this. Not becaus there is an mistake I made. ItÃ,´s because, I canÃ,´t find out what the mistake is.
Is there any help around?

A link to your site so we can take a look would be helpful. Also, if you've made the changes to the files make sure you have uploaded all the TP files to your forum, and run the manual_tp_install.php file again just to be sure.

Im not sure if you did this part correct.
You need to extract the package on your local machine and THEN upload the folders and files through FTP.
When you extract the package you have the "tree" as how the files should be added, so if you are in the forum root (where you have installed the forum) it should be correct when you ftp the extracted files.

IÃ,´ve extracted the files on my local machine, loaded them up to the server, downloaded every needed file to my machine again, made the code changes and loaded them up again.

Issue solved.
Missing edits to the index.template.php , SSI.php and index.php
Site is up and running now.

Can I install the leviathan theme now?
Do I have too look  for something special?

You need to make sure you download the TP version of the theme,

I could find only one leviathan theme. It is leviathan_11final_tp. Will this fit with my TP?

Their is both the SMF and TP version on the same download page. As long as it says the tp version as you stated you are fine.
