I am having a ton of issues. I installed the TP 0.98 but there are many things amiss. You can see that the tab forum is missing. On the home page there are many other things that are missing. http://www.greenvote.ca. I have tried removing the TP, reinstalling it. I have cleaned out the MySQL and then reinstalled it again, but same thing happens every time. I have also attached a couple of shots I took from the admin panel. As You can see all the choices are missing for the TP and when I try to edit any of the blocks whole lot of text is missing. Same thing happens in the default theme. What should I do? And what I surely done wrong?
By the way I love the Novelty theme. Too bad I bought it for a customer and not myself.
Did you install through the package manager or manual? If you installed through package manager, give a manual install a shot.

Check your language strings. If your forum runs on utf8 you need to grab the utf8 package for TP as well from the download section
By the sshots it most likely has to be languge strings missing..
That's right. I just came to post that since I am lazy I tried other things before trying manual install and have noticed that the board was running in utf-8. I've set it to the latin_swedish and deleted the TP database. Then put the forum in maintenance and reinstalled TP. And it works good now. Now I just have to set the rest of the stuff up.

HELP!
I'm having this same problem....no forum button....no TP admin block the same as above. When I try to download the language file above it tells me the file is corrupt. I had no problem installing TP on my other site and this is confusing the hell out of me. No matter what theme I use it's always the same.

are you in the default theme and having these problems. If not is it a theme that has been converted for tp?
Make sure you are installing the correct english language file.
if you are using UTF-8, you need to install English UTF-8 from the language packs.. Install the correct one, and it will work.
Yes...I'm in the default theme....every theme I tried is this way.
Can you give me a link to that Zetan? The one I found, when I tried to upload it , it said it was corrupt.

You have the option to convert to UTF-8
I tried that as well...it didn't work....I can't believe I'm struggling like this....wtf.
It always tells me that the language files are corrupt when I try to upload them.
Do it manually then via FTP. I had the same problem when I installed my test site.
Installing the correct language files fixed it.
I only installed the test site last week, so I know it works.

Theres not much else to say really. Just put the flies *files unzipped in the Languages folder
/public_html/Themes/default/languages/
I'm pretty sure it is just a language problem as this has been covered many times here.
