Hi,
I got to install TP and receive this error...
10. Execute Modification /home/users/web/b12/pow.grossmacht/htdocs/forums//Themes/default/index.template.php Test failed
11. Execute Modification ./Themes/babylon/index.template.php File not found
i have up to date versions of both TP and SMF. Is this an issue with the theme?
Is there a way around this? I only use the SAF-mc theme...the otheres are irrelevant.
any help is appreciated...i looked through the threads here, but had no luck

well since u only use that theme so u should do a manual install
But first of all you should never delete the default theme, since that is the core of the entire system.
In case you have deleted its entire folder then it is highly recomended that you reupload the default theme from a fresh SMf package (same version as yours) to your server. Since SMF uses that theme as a reference point for all other themes!
anyways down to the manual install..
Once you have uploaded the default theme to the board (highly recommended) - then you should just go ahead with the install even if you get an error.
Then manually mod the index.template.php file of saf multi color using this document: http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=14195
NOTE: do the edits for index.template.php NOT for index.php
hi,
when searching for // display user name in index.template.php for the safmc102 theme...it can't find that line of code...
the only instructions on the page you direct me to include
Themes/default//index.template.php
and Themes/babylon/index.template.php Which of these should i follow?
I have also installed the smf gallery lite mod and edited the template file to show the gallery icon in the list of options...do i need to uninstall all the other mods before proceeding with the tiny portal mod?
Thanks,
-dan
Custom themes don't always have the code that TP is looking for. You'll need to compare "where" its putting it in the default theme, and then decide where to put it in the SAF theme. For your info, the SAF theme is already done I think. Should be posted in Crip's board.
