I know you mention a "possiable" gallery feature you may add to TP. Any idea on how your gonan build it yet?
I have a few suggesstions, although I'm having a hard time figure out how to explain the idea without confusion.
The attachment system in 1.1 is awesome. Allows thumbnail preview, etc, etc. Albums could be set up like forum board with multiple attachments displayed, with comments to album, or post. Photos would be like forum topics, with comments or whole slew of replies/comments just like a normal topic would be. Polls allowed on the photos would be a bonus.
Basically, I think any photo you look at, should be a within a first post, in which people could reply.
Overall, I think the more SMF you use in it, the better. I think they should be setup like a forum. I know it saounds kinda lame, would take some getting used to, but in the end I think it would be better off that way. It would be nice to browse the forums, and see a catagory called "photo albums".
Nobody likes to click a bunch of links on a website to bounce around. A forum should have everything.

I guess this is an old thread.. but I was wondering when the TP Gallery was going to be included, myself.
TP 1 I think.
I've not seen any plans to include a Gallery into TP 1.X.X, I may be wrong.
As I understand it, it would be a plugin kind of module as thats the way I think all modules are going, as an optional plugin.
Yes, any big features like the gallery will be modules. No modules are added for TP 1.0 so there will not be a gallery then. It will be quite some time before that happens I think.
Yes, it will be some time before the gallery is released.
Bloc has been working overtime on TP 1.0 core, so that there will be no back tracking once be begins working on modules. Other coder's are also welcome to create their own modules.
