Title: Problems after installation

I'm using SMF 1.1.2 with TinyPortal 0.9.8.2.  After installation, I can't get to any of the TinyPortal admin pages, something about Memory limit exceeded.  I can no longer get to the packages screen to uninstall TinyPortal, I just get a blank page.  Another error I'm receiving is Page cannot be displayed when trying to get to personal messages.  What can I do to resolve these issues?

Memory limit exceeded sounds like your PHP memory limit needs to be bumped up from the default 8 to 16 MB. This your host will have to do. As for the blank page you'll have to ask SMF about the package manager. Your profile template may be screwed up, so you can try a new profile template in your default theme just to see if that is the problem.

how do you increase memory in PHP as I am hosting my site..  i'm having the same exact proble.  Thanks...

in your php.ini file. Search for memory_limit.

I changed the memory limit settings but I have a few PHP.ini files.  In what directory is it specifically allocating.

I got it.  i needed o restart my webserver.
