Title: Upgrading old version to new
Post by: kripz on March 28, 2007, 11:42:06 AM
How do i upgrade an old version of TP to a newer version. Do uninstall from packages, then install the new one?

Will doing the above loose all TP settings/informations etc?

you should be able to install it through the package manager with out uninstalling the old one, but we recomend to unsinstall before installing the new package.

Dont hijack thread, start your own with your issue.
Or better off, read in the install board and the topics there, you will have the answers there.

Nope, the tables in the database will still be there with all the info and content you have put in.
So you are safe to uninstall TP and reinstall it when ever you feel like it  :D
