Hey bloc, I was thinking....
Maybe the themes you design that are for sell, should be commercial themes. Themes that make room in the temeplate to supports common adds and such. That way the ad's blend more seamlessly.
This way, it makes it easier for busniess, or serious community sites.
Just my 2 cents...
Not for re-sale of course...
I have plans for some "business" like ones, and they should be "ad" ready , yes. A banner/ad manager in TP is planned at some point, but normal themes could also benefit from having "spots" for ads.
Any ideas what people might look for in such a theme?
First thing that comes to mind is sites that sell computer-related items/webspace etc. but I reckon the use is more widespread than that.
Computer / webspace would prolly be the most common.
I know of a gaming site rthat has nice add placement.
www.teamxbox.com
You need at least a center banner section that will adjust to teh height/width of teh banner and the same for teh right side.
Very slick site. :) I can see what you mean there.
