This allows you to quickly tell if you are interested in opening the topic. Great for support team members, when policing forums.
vbulletin has this feature, In case you want to see what I mean.

i thought so , just asking to be sure :D
thanks for assisting G6
This may sound dumb, but when reading this excellent tutorial today, I noticed this function, and thought that the tutorial could use the slightest edit... 8)
http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=402 (http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=402) "same as above"
Manual Installation of Mods/.XML Format Instructions/2.
2. Open up the specified file and look for a set of <operation>...</operation> tags. This indicates a single modification step within the specified file.
my question, for clarification. (a) Can you generally expect more than (1) operation in these .xml files? :-\
my question about tutorial. If answer (a) is "yes" or "yes & no" . Would above tutorial better clarify for this query if "/s" were added at the end?
Like this?
"2. Open up the specified file and look for a set of <operation>...</operation> tags. This indicates a single modification step within the specified file/s."
I thought that simple change would further clarify the very excellent tutorial for newer users. Of course; If answer to question (a) is "NO". :uglystupid2: then... Never Mind!? :2funny:
I notice little "language errors" sometimes in the many tutorials where the "English" translates a bit off. I was wondering if help in this area would be appreciated?
Please understand all you devoted writers. I am not criticizing your work. I am thankful for all the team effort @TinyPortal and at SMF
We are International community, and there is "tons" of translations to do; Unfortunately, I am not fluent enough in other languages at this time; So I could not help out translating new "Mods". However; I could help with translation to "English" "cleanup" duty. If you all think it would help. H
Thanks for putting up with me :)
That is something you ahve to take up with simplemachines.org and the doc writers as all the documentation on that site is theirs.
I knew that G6. I was just bringing it up for conversation, and to get everyones opinion as to whether this could be useful here.
There are docs here @tp that have a few typos. It is hard for the team to keep up with all the text that is written for support. that is why I offered. I did put a message in @smf. thanks
Question...
I installed this and it works fine with the default theme, but I cannot get it installed to work with Phobos. There seems to be a file discrepancy. Phobos doesn't contain Recent.template.php or Admin.template.php
Is there anything I can do to get this feature?
You need to seek help from the mod author Jeff. We can only support the tinyportal mod here.

if the mod uses files not included in a theme the theme will fall back on the default theme modded files, if you want to make sure you can add those modded files directly from the core theme to the theme that you want to mod that is missing those files, as far as getting it too work make sure that the files that were included in the theme are modified according to the package XML file in the mod once that is done as long as something in the theme itself doesn't interfer you should have the mod working in your theme. If there is something in the theme interferring than yes you will definitely need to goto the Mod author for adjustments to fix it at that point. :) hope this helps.
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up...
this Mod is updated and available @ SMF. probably the linkG6 put up earlier.
Anway; I just did a new install on a Band Site, SMF1.1.7, Added tp v105b1
1st Mod I installed was this Hover-Over. I am currently using Crips Orange2Gray theme, and Hover-Over worked perfectly with that theme as well.
Remember People. Always make a back-up, and always place your forum in the default theme mode before installing any of these Mods.
Peace, God Bless
Happy new Year
