Here is my simple idea for, "Member Group Signatures"...
An admin section for signatures should be created, here you can create many different signatures using (PHP, BBC, or HTML code) then you select a membergroup(s) for this to be displayed on. In admin you can select this signature to display above the members sig or below the members sig. It would be separated by a line.
Quote from: exampleI login to the admin and create a sig that has the following code.
Do Not PM Staff Without Permission
Then I select a membergroup (you can select more than one (check boxes))
Say I selected: TP Code TP Team TP Admin TP Support and thats all! it would display above or below the member signature and it would have this displayed on staffs sigs. would be separated with lines.
___Example 2___
Do Not PM Staff Without Permission (#post_)
Member Signature

Its an OK idea. Its really just a preference thing. If you have a reason for it, it might be worth something. But for what reason? Definitely a no on the php in a sig. You're asking for trouble doing that.
Look in the mod section on Simplemachines, there are several diffrent mods for signatures with diffrent permissions on them.
Have a look there Brian

Ok :) lol G6 I love your avatar. it makes me laugh ;D
Ok I searched smf for signature and the mods popped up. There was none that had to do with this here. There was one that was close to it which was Autosig (for membergroups) if only it would display and be modified customly only by admin in admin panel :D
But other than that there is nothing on or close to this ;)

Then request one in the modsection on Simplemachines.org ;)
I have posted exactly what I've posted here in the mod request section on Simple Machines Community ;)
