I am using smf 1.1.2 and TP9.7.  I was adding an article, with the editor available, when I turned off the editor.  Now I cannot turn the editor back on.  I have gone to older articles and clicked on edit.  They open, and just above them are an edit/options links.  When I click on the edit link I still don't get the editor back.

Thank you for the quick response.  I had tried searching for editor for articles  and couldn't find the information you guided me to.  Now, I am going to cross my fingers and hope that the rememdy isn't over my head.    Are you still recovering from the Superbowl Party? ;D  Have you made any progress with the mods to solve the problem?

Updated-I did what you said to do, and voila, I have the editor back.  I see that there is no longer a choice for me to switch off the editor as before.  Was anything else lost in the process that I should know about? 
Again, thanks for all that you do.  I am just a school teacher, who wanted to be able to share the pictures of our college football team, so I got a website.  I have very little knowledge about computers, but smf and TP have made it possible for me to run a pretty nice site.  I have learned a tremendous amount in the year or so since I have had it.  You guys at smf and TP have always come through like a champ when i have needed help.  I think my biggest problem now is that there are always newer and better things happening with newer versions, that I can't just leave well enough alone.  What a great problem to have-to leave a great thing alone, or make it better. ;D
