I am in need of a script that will make text scroll, like in the shoutbox.
Need this for html, anyone have a script for this?

If you just want to scroll some text in an HTML document:
<marquee behavior="scroll" align="left" direction="up" height="80" width="90%" scrollamount="2" scrolldelay="100" bgcolor="232323"
loop="infinite" onmouseover="this.stop()" onmouseout="this.start()">
Your text/other html (like links, etc.) here

I've searched the site, and this (after trying SEVERAL) scrolling snippets is the best one so far! :up: Thanks!! Works great in IE, I hope it works geat in other browsers too. (I'll check once I get home) thanks for sharing :)
it works awful in FF :( it's like it skips. :-\
Yip firefox doesnt like the marquee tag, it does work to a point but not like it does in IE
The best option is to use one of the java scrollers, much more complicated but it does look better.
