Hm, not to spoil anything, but it still having 50+ database calls for a arcade page is a - lot - . SMF is much bigger, and it only have like 16-17 at the most....
I dont even get that, just a blank screen apart from one " ( "

Not a chance, I have 1.1.3 on the main board and that is how it is staying until we have a TP Arcade. Then I will update the main site to 1.1 & TP. A replacement for the existing Arcade is the trigger to update.

Yea thats always been an issue with the arcade. I think the should worry bout geting that down.
like nokonium. 1 left it at 1.1.3 arcade. iot seems that the updates to that version were just too buggy. (as i noticed by the arcade topic)

I am bit surprised that Niko(?) hasn't adressed this..but maybe its difficult to change the way it works now - without rewriting the whole thing. And thereby opening a lot of support issues.
But adding that 50+ quieries to the added load of an portal for example...TP use around 2-10 extra calls at the busiest..I think the server will hurt, at least on bigger sites.

I remember he said somehting about this when it was at the second major release but i dont what happened that he didnt change it.

For next version i hope we get translation team organized so we can get languages out same time as mod version... (some kind of web interface with list of untraslated strings (and older modifed)) and ofcourse news to admin panel localized.
