After reading the Topic (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=7915.0) that Aku posted on tabbed content and seeing  several SMF/TP sites using the tabs I decided to give it a try and ended up using the Ajax Version (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/ajaxtabscontent/index.htm)

At this point it looks like it will turn out OK except for a problem that Iââ,¬â,,¢m having with IE7, the tabs #2, #3, #4ââ,¬Â¦ will not work, or load the whole target page instead of the page content as desired, so you then must use you browser back button to return to the tab menu. With FireFox it seems to work correctly.

For the past two days Iââ,¬â,,¢ve been reading the DD pages & forum trying to see whatââ,¬â,,¢s needed for IE7 use the tabs correctly, but so far no luck. From visits to SMF/TP sites with IE7 I know that some of you have it right, so my question is, how do I setup the tabs so that IE7 can use them the way they are supposed to work?

u may have to register on DD forums and ask for help in specific

this is something I discovered a long time about DD that many times the scripts posted are not properly supported and as a result the end up becoming obselete with newer versions of browsers

if it wasnt for the mad professor on DD, we would probably see hald the scripts on DD becoming obselete by now

just post about it there, im sure the mad professor will come to the rescue soon enough :up:
