Title: TP0971 errors etc

Ok... I do not like using the manual tp installation.
I saw there is a TP0971
well...
I clicked install and these are the errors i received:
(i only provided the ones with errors :()

Probably all your other mods that allready changed the lines TP searches for.
uninstall th other mods and then try again, if you dont want to go that way, the only option left is the manuall install by hand (not using the premade files)

Is there some possible way I could do a manual install of TP then some how modify code so TinyPortal will be displayed in the Package Manager so I will be able to Uninstall It. ETC. from there ???

Could this be caused by a previous installation of Tp? I am now assuming the role of site admin in full, including update and we have installed v0.9.6 in SMF1.1 Final as suggsted on a thread here on the boards.

I think i should probably uninstall the old Tp version first, is that right?

Yes, the ones that used the "hack version" of Tp V.096 that members released and not Bloc will have those errors as the hack didnt include the uninstall code.
Thats the punnishment for not waiting for the code authors releases  ;)

Manual install = the only way for you

Thanks for the reply G6, is there any chance I can manually uninstall 0.9.6 and then be free to use package manager with Tp again?

Remove all the TP files and then edit the code out of the files TP changes in the SMF.

Im not sure this will work though, but i think i read about a similar thing that Thurnok wrote.
You can try and replace the old files with the release from Bloc manually (TP V,096beta) and see if the uninstaller show up
Needs to be the full package, not the files only
