Title: What CHMOD permission should files be set at?

OK, once I have all mods installed, for extra security, what should be the attributes of all the files and directories in SMF and Tinyportal?  Do any need different permissions from others?  Is 644 a good standard?  thankyou.

Why do you want to change them, what happens if you want to add something real quick ???

Security from hackers, ftp errors, malicious attacks, hosting company errors, admin mistakes.  Lots of reasons.  Some directories should not resolve in a URL etc. 

Anyone have suggestions?

I peronsally keep my files set at 755 with the exception of my Settings file that I keep at 666 or 644 I can't remember. Folders not resolving to a URL requires more than just permissions btw.
