The statistics are boring so i didnt take any screenshots of them.. but i can tell you that you have A LOT of stats at your hand in a very user friendly interface.

But the map i must say is the cool feature *Bling* *BlinG*  8)

I run a Danish site so i look at my map...who the hell are all those people.. and whats that guy from Dubai doing ?!?  :o

Lets have a closer look... hmm nice screenresolution.. my site looks.. well funny at that res  ;D

Lets click on him and open a new window with some more details - Now he suddenly have other screenresolution.. must be a bug  ;D Anyways i can see that he is just checking out my site becuse he spends very little time on each page  :coolsmiley:

Ohh damn i could spend all evening just sitting here taking screenshots LoL  ;D and i just saw your post while i was posting.. i can see that google provides some freaky stuff as well.. is that completely free ?  ???

And does it keep track of all pages and visitors or just the site as a general ?

I like the maps, really cool! I havent tested all of the google capabilities yet since i used it 3 times in all to be honest lol but it keep the code in my footer just in case i get bored and wana check up some stats.

But their tool I believe is more integrated to work with adwords optimization, since it gives u detailed analysis of adwords and there are tonnes of reports I never even checked (since i dont use adwords)

but ill copy and paste a list of full reports they offer:

Cool, thanks Aku!  Found their info - Google (http://www.google.com/analytics/#utm_medium=et&utm_source=bizsols&utm_campaign=analytics).

Did you use the static php site or dynamic php site code from Google?

@ Aku - It looks like google offers even more than i am getting. I guess the map thing is what i am paying for.. but its really cool.. i have put it in my protopage so i always have it one click away.. and it has a search option also on the map.. so i cab easely pull information quickly about any member on my board. Do u use protopage.. its really another cool thing :-)

Cool, I just inserted my Google account code information to my default forum theme's index.template.php file immediately before the </body>.

When back to Google and confirmed if code is installed correctly and now it's waiting for data

Does the code go in all of the index.template.php themes that we use, or just the forum default theme? I would think that it would go in all the themes index.template that are used but I'm not sure... :uglystupid2:

I did it to all my index.template.php files   :)

you have to put the code in all templates.. or you can put it in an invisible center script block .. viewable to all members + guest.. even though it will be invisible  :)

I noticed when I put the code in a post in our Admin area, it was invisible   :o  I had to go back and click modify to be sure it was actually there   :idiot2:

Would putting in a center block give you more range as far as the report is concerned or is putting it in the index.template.php file the same?

ops sorry i was away for a while.

Just add the code to a block  - which is always visible on all the pages.

Thats how I did it and it works A-OK

But to be honest, its good to have stats, but I hardly use them, it gets kinda boring after the first 2 times (at least in my case)

Doh and I just updated all my index.template.php files.  Do you think there will be some performance issues if I have it in a block too mixed in with some other code.

Maybe it would be good idea to rename this topic to "Website Analytics".

if you have the code in all you index.template.php files thene there is no need to add it anywhere else..  no need to add the code twice. using the block is just the easy solution so if you already added the code there is no need to do anymore.
