What I'm trying to do is set a background picture for the TP articles, but inserting the following code into the article html puts the background image into the rest of the web page, but not into the article where it needs to be. You can see the result in the screen shot below where it is showing the target image as bg for the page, while the 'Car Club' article is still showing the Helios default bg.
Is there code that can be placed into the article, or must some other approach be used to get the image to stay inside the article window?

If you use a table you could put it in there

Which file were you modifying to set a background for TP articles. I just want to add a backgriund picture to it so it will look more appealing. Can anyone answer this? Thank you in advance.
You can add a background picture to quite a few HTML tags. If you have a table or div, just add the background to that in your article code.
I need to know the specific file (eg. index.template.php) to modify the article background alone (not the whole theme).
So you want every article to have the background? My post above will give you the ability to customize a single article. But for all articles its probably in the TPortal.template.php
Ok. I got it. So if I want to customize each and every article background it is advisable for me to just use html code in the article itself without any need to modify the original file. Unless I want a fixed background for all article.
