hello i just updated from RC3 to 1.1.1
when i updated (using webinstall) the tp files transported and are still in package manager
i spent the last few days configging tp and was ready to release the website for my gaming team
all my articles are lost, (im new to smf and tp) does this usually happen? if not is there a way i can restore my articles? i backed up from admin pannel to my flash drive and i backd up on webinstall.
please help?

The articles are stored in the database, so they should still be there. You just need to reinstall TP and everything should be back.
You cant upgrade from RC3 to 1,1.1
You have to upgrade to 1.1 first!
Then after that is done, upgrade to 1.1.1

i cannot reinstall through package manager. install doesent show up. should i reinstall the package? i would have to delete all of the files but that would delete all of the articles too wouldnt it?

Uninstall the 1.1.1 patch. Install TP, then reinstall the 1.1.1 patch.

where can i find the 1.1.1 patch? so... uninstall that patch -> install TP -> resnatall patch ? ok good plz just tell me where the patch is located and i think i can get it, can i delete it from ftp or will i need to downgrade? thanks IchBin-nj w/ all the SMF/TP scripting : )
Well, if you installed the 1.1.1 patch in your package manager you should be able to select it to uninstall it.
i used web install tho

Not really, just wait for Bloc to update and release the correct package.
I think you will be more happy with that in the end as the ones that have manipulated TP to work now, wont be able to uninstall the old TP V.097 when the update arrives as the installer they have used didnt made the proper changes for an unsinstall just like with the hack for TP V.096 they installed and got a lot of troubble with when tp v.097 arrived
Okay so when the next version comes out install it thru package manager and all my articles should be back? sounds easy thanks!
