It comes up on TP fine, but it doesn't provide a link to my forums ANYWHERE! I have the enterprise theme, and am using SMF 1.1 I love the concept of TP but just need this final issue resolved for me!
Are you using TP enabled sms 1.1 themes or the normal ones?
TP Enabled themes can be found here:
http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=cat475
Uninstall the other theme if u were using the wrong version - delete its folder using FTP from your themes directory
and then finally install the new TP enabled theme using Theme manager
Through some tweaking with the settings I can see the some forum things, but I want my users to be able to go to the traditional forums also (I like the feel more)
Enabled ones (enterprise) Sorry, I am a bit of a n00b!
Please read my post above and verify that you are or not using the TP ENABLED themes.
Also provide a link so I can have a look :)
TP uses special themes (not normal SMF themes) thats why those special themes are the only ones which can be used with TP.
I agree that this is a theme problem. Can you give us a link to your site ?
Like I said, it was on the enabled list! But the link to my site is:
www.psp-temple.com/smf/index.php
You should be able to see the first page, but the rest requires log in!
Sorry, you will have to look at my screenshot! (i love ubuntu!)
Yes you have the wrong theme, your image paths show "Enterprise_smf11rc2" thats the theme version for 1.1 RC2 and its not the Tiny portal version either.
Step 1: Uninstall your current Enterprise theme
Step 2: Download this version http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item607
Step 3: install the newly downloaded theme
Thats all
n00b Q here, how do I install that one? lol thanks!
Go to the SMF Admin panel by pressing the link which says "admin"
Once in there look on the left for a link which says "themes and layout"
To UNINSTALL the existing Enterprise theme click on the link which says "Themes and Settings" and then the red X next to the theme name. (this step is important)
Then to install click on "manage and Install" tab and look near the bottom where it say "Install a New Theme"
Just click the browse button and tell it where the downloaded theme zip package is on your PC and click install.
Thats all
