Title: Just a quick calendar type question...
Post by: Gargoyle on December 17, 2006, 02:19:34 AM
I was wondering if any of you knew how to edit the calendar so it'll show all the events whether or not they are in "private access" boards.

So if the event is posted in a special access board I still want the event viewable on the calendar.

Thanks for any insight into this one.  ;)

This doesn't have anything to do with TP. (Not that I won't answer it. Just sayin'. :) )

The only thing you can do is set your calendar to accept events that aren't connected to posts. Those events are viewable to everyone.

I understand this part :)

I want users to see the event and only members able to see the details.

This is then an incentive to signup.

When users click on it, it should ask for login information.

I need both the title and the details to be posted and linked.

Any suggestions?

BTW - I know it is not specifically TP related, but it goes to overall functionality, not just forums, something that TP adds, so...  ;)

It would take quite a bit of revamping of the code to do what you want and I'm afraid I wouldn't know where to start.
