I would like to copy TP files into SMF decompressed directory and files prior to downloading everything onto the server.

That way, I would not need to install TP each time I download a new instance of SMF.

Is this possible?

TP is installed in the database as well - not just the files

So it would be best to use the package installer

Or else u will have to run the manual install
