I have a 1.1RC3 / 0.9.6 site that works with no problems.

I just set up a new 1.1 / 0.9.7 site and have some display issues.

When I build a new user with some of the pre-set groups, I have no issues at all. However, I set up a new group and assign a user to that group, the left and right blocks disappear for them. I can set it back to "No primary membergroup" and all works fine. You also can see the left/right blocks when logged out.

Same results with default theme as well as Helios.

Is this something thats been covered that I missed?

If you set up a new user group, you have to go through the blocks and select that group on each block that you want to see it. New groups are not automatically set to view blocks.

pfft, I knew that and could have swore I checked it 50 times  :o.
