Title: How can I get back to 9.5
Post by: Ronlx2 on December 11, 2006, 10:02:40 PM
I have five forums that I have updated to 9.7 and the fixes though minor did the trick in what I wanted.

Problem is 9.7 has a problem in editing center blocks in that I can't get rid of the main admin menu on the right or the setting page on the left so when I want to edit my center block not all of the editing features show so I can't change all of it.

No complaint for it's working great just need to go backwards with on forum that worked perfect with 9.5

Never heard of that, can't you hide left/right panels when in Admin?

You cant go back to TP V.095 unless you have an old backup of the DB from Tp V.095 install.
But you have to run the same SMF you had to when you had TP V.095 installed

More options and settings for them, but you can have the centerblocks look theexact same way in Tp V.097 as you could in Tp V.095

It's not the main tp blocks. Problem is when I go into edit a block say center blocks, the main admin menu shows up on the right like it did with 9.5 and 9.6 but with 9.7 and special settings for blocks show up on the left side which collapses the center editing block so I can see or edit everything I want to enter.

You must have it set wrong..look it over again..look close at the center block 'settings'..your missing something..or adding something thats blocking you out.

The blocks have not changed it is the screen on the right that collapes the editing screen.

I'm not into arguing and will give Ichin mod permission to look.

I never noticed he was an admin here. I just read words people write and he is a   in my book.

O'k,

Just put tp9.7 on one of my test sites and it puts the same block on the right side when trying to edit a center block. This collapses the block that I try to edit which is in the center of course.
