using tp 0.9.7 smf 1.1: why shoutbox looks like this now
Cant say, havent seen or heard of that problem before. This is not from the Default SMF theme, are you using an updated theme that works with SMF 1.1 and TinyPortal V.097 ? And do it behave the same when you use the SMF Default theme

i have the same problem - it was ok in 0.9.6 though
it happens in babylon :o for me though, ok in default
If you guys have any custom blocks try disabling them to see if any of them are causing it to act this way.

I have the default blocs that get installed auto by tp when i run the manual install, sorry i cant check - iv removed tp, im just waitin for a few fixes ;)

I think I located why this is. Since you un-installed, I guess you can't try the fix, but it will be included in the re-release later tonight.
The fix was to add a "width=100%" to the table containing shoutbox and increase the actual shoutbox width from 96% to 99%. Works it seems in FF and IE.

JUst updated to tp 0.9.7 on my other test area (forgot about that :buck2: )
and it also does it to the default theme - i didnt notice before until i increased the bar width;

No. it will will be a accumulated package of all fixes done to 0.9.7 public release in a new 0.9.8 release shortly.
0.9.8 already -- long way from 0.7.5 :) Neptune was BlocZone default Theme back then I believe.
