Title: Need help linking a side block to an article .

im trying to make a link in a block ( a clickable .gif ) that will open up an article page. but i cant get it to work right. i can make the link and all but it opens a new page. how can i make it so it opens in the current browser page ? or - even better ,is there a way to make a image in a block link directly to a article page without opening a new browser?


heres the images im gonna use =

the clickable image is called -  http://www.mysite.com/blockbutton1.gif
the address of the article is - http://www.mysite.com/smf/index.php?page=8

The site isn't there!

I get this error!

404 Error -- File Not Found
The page you are looking for (http://mysite.com/smf/index.php) is not here.

mysite.com usually just shows as an example ;) "mysite" = the site he use  :laugh:

i just replaced my real site w/ that name. im not done w/ it and dont really want ppl to see it yet ,but my site is ..

i can not figure out how to make a link form a block to open an article without going to a whole new browser page.

the image thats in the block is to be used as the "button"

i was using the wrong code. was using the photobucket code ,

Oh, I didn't know that.  I don't feel's good today so i'm little off today.

I usllay don't fall for that.  But i did today because i don't feel good right not and early today.
