Even though I paid for a specific theme from Bloc I think I got more than I paid for. He went the extra mile (or kilometer outside of the US) to help me get my SMF forums to follow a similar theme to our old PHPBB forums.
I could have eventially modded one of his other themes to do the same, but do not have the time to learn a new trade. The service and assistance was good to the point where I asked him to leave his credits and link at the bottom of the page.
Original plan was to us TP, but I later decided that SimplePortal better suited my needs (although it is not quite as easy to update and configure).
Thanks again Bloc.
If you want something unique and do not have the time or skills - it is well spent money.
Oh - our site/forums is for a FPS clan website. http://www.socoe.us
Cheers
Your site looks great as suspected, knowing Bloc was working on it behind the scenes. :) That's a great site you have there. Would you mind sharing your TS block? I have one I was working on to make it fit into a nice little block but haven't had the time to make it work yet.
I too am looking forward to Bloc doing a theme for one of my sites. I have been a long time fan of his themes. (https://www.tinyportal.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gardenwaters.com%2FSmileys%2Fdefault%2FS_THUM12.GIF&hash=4af922fde7e29a9f1bde607bf340f3c69f26b4f2)
No problem sharing the TS block. It is PHP, but I am working on a flash one also. Inside the zip file there is another zip called "original.zip" - this is the original TS images.
Thanks a bunch socoe! I'm going to put that into our "code snippets" forum for other users to have. When you get done with the flash version come show it off. :)
No Problem.
A quick Q - in my forums alot of the settings are the same as Black22. When posting a message or thread you have the preview button. When using black22 here (or my forum on my site) this brings up a very small preview window with scroll bars (very hard to actually preview the post). When using the default smf theme - the preview window opens full size and there are no scroll bars.
Now the Q: Where would I go to change this so that my preview section opens as the default instead of Black22?
Thanks again everyone.
On my forums you are directed to the board after you post, here you looking at your post after posting (where is that setting?).
Thanks

I don't think you can make default show preview - when using Black22 theme. Its smaller in Black22 because of the table layout.

that should be in the profile - "return to post after posting". And setting it as default - admin / themes and settings / reset options.
I see says the blind man - so where can I change the table layout?
Actually..you can't directly..the preview is in Post.template, which Black22/socoe22 don't use, they fall back on default theme. But the tables which contain the post -> index.tempalte, is slightly different between default and Black22. Thats what causing it I think.
I will play around with it a bit and report back - Cheers
