Title: Error when I turned RSS bock on (not the constant r - assumed 'r' error)
Post by: bloodlust on October 14, 2005, 03:09:10 AM
I just started playing with TinyPortal today....All was going well, until I changed one of my left blocks to RSS when I was just playing around.

Now I get this on every page:

2: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource
File: C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\JAForum\Sources\TPortal.php
Line: 1030

I don't really care to have an RSS feed on my website...I just turned it on to see what it would look like.  How can I turn this off so that my portal works again?

SMF 1.0.5
TP 074

Don't worry....this is not my live forum. It's just a backup copy that I'm using to play around with TP on.

Thanks in advance!

How do you turn the RSS block off? Just click the red (stop) button in the edit blocks section.

you might have to go into mysql data base and remove that line for the rss fead-- I did the same thing once

One of the above, or simply set the block type to something else.

I'll try Ray's suggestion.  I can't click the red button to turn it off because I can't get to that screen because of this error.

Thanks guys :)

**Edit Thanks Ray...that worked!  :)
