I was wondering what could be the problem of preventing others not being able to see the ShoutBox on my Forum when I can?

Have you enabled it in TPAdmin and checked the boxes in the "Edit" section for the groups that should see it? If not it will only be seen by Admins

Thanks gerrymo, I finally figured that out. :)

I only know cos I did the same thing.

it would usually be the permissions thats blocking people from viewin blocks.

Yeah, this is new for the latest release..the old way was causing too much problems. Now all that are ticked can see it. if you are an admin you can see it regardless, even if no groups are checked.

Incidentally this way you could also have blocks ONLY visible to guests(and admin of course), any member will not see them.
