Frontpage Suggestion!!

I would like to know if we could have the choice to have displayed on the front page.
The lets say... 5 latest topics instead of selecting a forum section have the ones from that section displayed only.

ie:

What to show on frontpage:       Only forum
                                                Both forum and articles - sorted on date
                                                Only articles
                                                Single page
                                                Newest Topics

??

That's actually what the recent topics bloc is for.

Thats right. It would be a duplicate...

If the recent topics should be on frontpage, it would have to be an expanded version of the block, with perhaps more information - number of replies, latest post ect.

if there is more people wanting this, I might add it.

Doesn't seem to be a bad idea. But I think you have more important things to do.

Bloc, I agree with sh33z0 on showing latest topics, regardless of forum, to be shown on frontpage. I think that is great idea!

I strongly suggest that you add this to next version.

Ya if not too hard to code!
It would be nice to have the option to choose in between the bloc or to have it on the main page.
Or another question would be to be able to select 2 or 3 different sections of the forum.
lets say the news section and the lounge section. YOu can see the section and select wich ones you would like to be displayed.

ie:

What to show on frontpage:        Only forum
                                                Both forum and articles - sorted on date
                                                Only articles
                                                Single page
                                                Newest Topics   
                                                Multiple Section  * Lounge
                                                                        * News
                                                                          Project
                                                                          Tech

But this would be harder I guess..?
PLease let us know if this would be possible.
