Guys and Gals Im looking to setup a newsletter. Are there any add ons or mods or blocks or is the only way to accomplish this is through html code through the news and news letter block ? Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

SMF has a newsletter feature built into the admin panel under News & News Letters. Right now there is nothing built into TP because there's no need to recreate the wheel.

Right ... Just wondered if there were other options out there besides the news and news letters portion. For instance a mod or something other then writing in html code. I appreciate it though. Youre right not need to re-create the wheel. lol

Download a free app such as PageBreeze, http://www.pagebreeze.com/

type your newsletter and set it out as required, then click the HTML source tab and copy the whole code.

Paste it into the newsletter feature built into SMF.  and send it.

Check it by sending yourself one first.

Make sure you save the newsletter you created in PageBreeze, then all you need do is edit it for the next one you send out.

That's what I do.
