HTML-Editor: How to use the "insert float right/left div"

How is this option to use?
I can only find basic info about the HTML editor and the handling of this function maybe basic, but for me not intuitive :-(

BTW... I've used the TP article system for many years and did use HTML articles a lot, but in recent times I have moved away from the HTML articles and now use BBC articles almost every time.

Thanks, KEN, I already found that doc but the function I mentioned is not decribed as far as my English goes.
But I did some trial + error and could figure out... and with some help of HTML refreshing, the results got fine!

Thanks for pointing me to BBC.... as I never used that one, might be time to read about it :-)
(edit) As far as I can see, this is a simpler subset of functions but I rather require HTML.
