and this:
QuoteForbidden

You don't have permission to access /Themes/smf_ww1/menu/vcribbon2.jpg on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

That would be as your site is not correctly set to serve images over https.

https://www.reenactor.net/Themes/smf-green_the_fourth/images/off.png is forbidden

http://www.reenactor.net/Themes/smf-green_the_fourth/images/off.png is allowed

What webserver do you use? I assume apache2?
I dunno, I'd have to ask my host. Actually,. I will send him this because something is funky. Ugh. How did you want me to get you that zip file? Perhaps PM and I can put it somewhere??

Actually I can only not access it on the first attempt, the second attempt is fine.

I think you themes are ok after it's loaded once as well? Well I get different themes for different sections not sure if they are correct though.

I don't think seeing the zip will help much as I'm pretty confident its the http/https switch. Although how to uninstall TinyPortal might be a issue.

Well, there are suppose dto be, but they're all brokennow AND, worse, if I edit a page, it get's switched to the main theme  :tickedoff:

Right. I don't even know where to start.

I've a feeling I know where this is heading.  By the way sturmkatze, was Tinyportal installed via SMF 1.x and before you upgraded to SMF2 ?

sturmkatze

Originally, sure. In about 2007-08. I forget. When upgraded to 2, it was a nightmare. 2 weeks of dull headaches. Ugh. IchBin helped me rebuild it and I will be forever grateful. It was uninstalled, then the upgrade installed. Dull headaches.

I am just trying to see if there is a relatively easy way forward.  :o

No you misunderstood, once I load it for the second time then all your pages have a different theme, without knowing what it looked like before I can't tell if they are what you had before, but they are all different.

Ugh. So, each area has a theme plus the main theme. I DO know that if I edit a page in any way, it changes the theme to the main one I have for the site. If you're telling me that it's rotating themes, that's even worse. Ugh! What I really need is a way forward in fixing this mess.

Current thought is something w/ server wrong as it is not showing stuff (mostly images) certain folders. I CERTAINLY didn't do it and it seems to have all went bad with the try to change to secure. However comma, I don't know when the theme problem started... maybe w/ upgrade to latest SMF?!?

Anyway, I do have a friend who is really good at this and he's going to look at the cpanel and some other stuff to see what he can see.

Any thoughts as to why it's not in the install, so that I may then uninstall TP and install the latest??

tino

It's all to do with https from what I can tell. Or at least on first load it is.

What web server do you use? Apache, nginx, lighttpd?

I don't know. I did ask. I am waiting to see if I get a response.
