Title: pdf files not allowed for upload

Is there a reason why pdf files are not permitted to be uploaded in TinyPortal ?

Have you added them to the allowed file extensions?

Tinyportal Admin > Downloads > settings > Allowed file extensions : zip,rar,doc,jpg,gif,png,pdf

You're welcome, hope it works out.  ;)

Oh, forgot to mention, on that same admin page, you might have to up the allowed file size limit to accommodate larger files.

Another question (sorry)
Is there a way to know who downloaded the files. By default only number of downloads is shown.

that information is not tracked.
