Copyright question
« on: June 07, 2018, 01:45:18 PM »
So as not to offend anybody, this is just a question. I will live with or without either way.

Are you allowed to pay to have it removed from the footer? If so, do you still provide support? If not, no big deal I'll live with it.

Thanks

You mean the TinyPortal copyright?

I think it’s standard that if you remove it you don’t get support. There is no paid for version of TinyPortal to offer support and allow its removal that I know off.

Correct tino.  ;) Think it's only fair after all the hard work you guys have put into it.

Ok, no problem. Just wanted to ask, I had 5 copyrights at one time because of various mods applied. It was really starting to look a little silly so I paid to have the other three removed. Thanks!

So to answer the second part there isn't a paid for support removal option?

Well not as it stands atm.  Though that's not set in stone, and may or may not change in the future. We'll see.
