Sound For Shouts

Is there any way to make a sound whenever someone shouts in the shoutbox? I find that I miss a lot of shouts because there is nothing that notifies you that one has been made.

You'd have to write some sort of ajax function that would do that.

I was going to say this probably wouldn't be easy to do with the way the Shoutbox is written now, or even very realistic, being that it only refreshes when a shout is made or the page is refreshed.  There are plans to add Ajax to the Shoutbox in a future version of TinyPortal and then, when a shout is made, sounds might be easier to add to the code.  Of course, that's what Ichbin said as well, and I concur.
