TinyPortal

I'm talking about the "About the author" section that's added at the end of every TinyPortal article. As of now, this section is automatically generated using basic forum statistics (registration date, post count and the date of last visit) which makes it look quite soulless.

Authors at my forum are not data points, they are excellent people putting extra effort into making the community better, and I appreciate their hard work very much. To highlight their contributions, I made a custom profile field (editable by admins, viewable by everyone, displayed on member profile).

Now, if there only were a way to display this custom profile field instead of the auto-generated "About the author"...

If we did this it would be custom to your forum. I don't see how this gets applied to everyone who uses TinyPortal.

You can of course modify your copy of TinyPortal to achieve this. I just don't see how it works across different forums.
