Showing blocks / articles by section

So now that TP 1.0 is out, I'm back with this question. But I think I'm on the right track this time.

I want to make certain blocks / articles / categories only viewable by section.

So that being said, there's an option for displaying in certian language sections. Would it be possible if I duplicated (but changed it so TP thinks it's a different language) to make different "Sections" ?

Why don't you just show things by category. Then just display the blocks with articles in a certain category different. That would achieve the same thing.

Because I'm trying to acheive a "Section" effect so that each section has its own sort of..."front page" I guess you could say?

What's the difference between Sections and Categories? Can't you use categories to define your sections?

With the categories thing, is it possible to have different themes for each category?

No, I don't think so.

Yes it is possible. You can assign articles to have a specific theme in the articles options.

TP is Beta and a very early beta version to.
