Ricky.

I have thi sissue, donno if I am missing something ?

What I want is that I have a centerbox with some javascript in it, I want to be visible only at site main page ie. TP portal page. I looked into permission ie. where it sets where to show the page, there is no option to show it only on page, in custome action when I give "index" even then its not showing on index.

I only want it to be visible on index page of my site, nowhere else.

Any clue ?

Are you using 'frontpage' as your main page? if you are then try making it a frontpage block instead of a center block. A link to your site would help so we know what kind of 'Main page' you are using...

Ricky.

No, not using frontpage as index, just using an article as main page. <link in siggy saying "India entertainment forum"> leads to my site running tp+smf.
Though I will see now that frontpage thingi.

Ricky.

I figured it out but still not clear..
What I did is just selected "Front box are added first" instead of "normal, frontbox are shown alone"
under TP settings --> Frontpage !

Thanx buddy :)

I use an article for my frontpage.. then if i need any blocks on the frontpage i tell the block only to show for that article :)

You can also turn of center blocks for the forum.  Then center blocks only show on the TP page and not the Forum page.  Each article has options to show left/right/center blocks with them as well, so you can then selectively have it displayed or not with individual articles as well.
