Today I asked down at a vB skin site for a customization work which included making a theme from fixed width to 100% width. It required some template changes and ofcourse some graphics to be extended to meet the width changes.

Their estimate: $40 / hour @ minimum of 4 hours = $160
So I can look at anything between $160 to $500  :o

I just ran out of there lol

so be thankful for smf and TP and all the free cool themes and the free support :D

and to those people throwing fits and showing their moods...stop and be thankful that we get such excellent stuff for free with great support :D

Amazing people complaining about SMF and TP for the few things we do charge for.

Remember the post RebelRose made some time ago with the question of how much she could take for making a fully custome theme  :o

I am very thankful. For the software AND especially the community.

Thats sounds good, I with you on that one Les.  ;D

well the sad part is this isnt 'custom work' but rather just modifying an existing theme which id have to buy from them 1st :p lol

so thats $ 31 for the theme + $160 for simply making it wider

now thats what i call a ripoff

I'd be broke with all the help I've received.  Thanks everybody for helping out!  The Riverside would be a dull place without all the mods/code, etc.
