download manager permissons

Is it possible to add, in the permissions section, to restrict downloads to guest?
I still would like guest to see attachments just not be able to download in the download section.(I want people to see what they can't get, unless there members)

I'm surprised no one answered this I'm having the exact same issue. I'd like to restrict my downloads to registered members only. Is there a way to do this?

Sure, just UN check guest in DL permissions..

The permission is there to limit who can download. However, that is not a permission for a quest to be able to view but not download.
