Installation of TP 1.0 failed readme message indicated to uninstall previous versions;

Please un-install TinyPortal 0.6-0.9.x before installing the new TinyPortal 1.0. You will NOT loose any data, and everything will work as before. After un-installing(removing the modifications to SMF files only) you can then re-install TP v1.0 and it will pick and use the old data. Note that TP no longer need to use custom TP themes, it will use SMF themes just fine..but you WILL need to add the extra "forum" button/tab to the theme.

I attempted to do this from the package manager of SMF 1.1.9 but the error message this package does not include uninstall fikes

Can sks tell me how to uninstall from the cpanel or another method, thanks?

The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

The reason it doesn't have an uninstall option is because that TP version is so old that it does not have instructions for uninstalling on the newer versions of SMF. The only way you can get it to work, is by taking the TP 0.9.8 package and unzipping it, then adding the instructions for SMF1.1.19 to the install xml file in the uninstall section.

If you can't figure that out, you can always restore all your files to SMF default by uploading the upgrade package for your version of SMF. Then TP should no longer be installed, at which point you can install the TP 1.0 version.
