Nolt

SMF 2.0.2
TP 1.0 gold
Lang: Polish

On one of my sites I get error:
8: Undefined index: alternate
File: /home/*****/public_html/Themes/default/languages/TPortal.polish-utf8.php (main sub template - eval?)
Line: 325

When user clicks Forum button in logs I have error like this above. In TPortal.polish-utf8.php there is no line 325. I checked /Sources/Subs.php for issues with menu items but all seems to be ok. Any ideas?

Do you have template eval disabled? That should give you the proper error with the proper file name.

Thanks, fixed ;)

Nolt, really?  What was the problem, in case anyone else runs into that error?

I had template eval enabled, when option is checked (disable template eval) logs all clear.
I'm curious why it was generated? It's TP bug?

I seriously doubt it.  I can't recall "alternate" being a variable in TP but I could be wrong.  It's happened before. ;) I suspect it was either from another SMF Mod or from some bad block code.

I am not sure if that is the same "problem", I have seen, that the file:

.../languages/TPortal.english-utf8.php (main sub template - eval?) had caused some thousands of errors already.

Sorry if the request sounds a little naive and uniformed.

Truly! So strive to be one of them. Or like to get a random Sutta?
