I just want to host my own website on my server so i dont have to pay monthly/yearly ;)
Oh, well buy an old corporate desktop and install a linux server OS on it, CentOS is a popular.
You will have to have a pretty fast upload speed, what are your transfer speeds?
:D What is the price on this?
I have no clue what my transfer speeds are :o lol

Price on what, hardware or software?

Software is free, hardware depends on where you live. Ebay is a good starting point.

yup...those transfer sppeds is what is going to determine the pass/fail on hosting other peoples domains...If they have to wait all day.  you will lose your accounts.  Virtual  Servers work well, but support is an issue for sure.  you can buy support.  Like I said above.  Direct Admin is a popular and well put together Program. Just google.
