I never cared using the article system until now. For 1 1/2 years i always used the custom action mod to make extra pages.  Well....those days are over.

This weekend i decided to mess with the article system and i have to say wow!

I love how you can copy other web pages and redesign it to your own likings.

Thank you Bloc and the TP team for your support. I cant wait for the next release :coolsmiley:

lol.. 1 nd a half yrs?
It took me a few weeks to stare at it dumbfounded.. now, some of my best pages are articles.
I never wanted a forum to be honest.. I have been around forums for years. I just needed a simple page for the project I was working on.. streams.. I got carried away.

I love SMF.. but I couldn't live without TP and Articles.. I'd have to use other software.

lol im having fun with it.  Im amazed.

Ken.

Articles do an amazing job for site building and content.

I have an entire web site with 100's of HTML pages that I'll slowly converting to articles... many of them with a simple copy and paste.
it's just too bad that lots of them were originally built with Microsoft FrontPage... FP dorks up any image links that it publishes

Good job on those pages bluedevil, they look great.

I still stare at it dumbfounded. I need to learn what to do with the article system and how it works.

You sure do!..
Articles are very versatile, will add pages to your site and is about to become much better with permissions.

Learn how they work, how to link to them and open up some new options and features for your site.

I did the same thing - Thanksgiving weekend I'm making a big change to use articles - I'm still playing around and trying to figure them out but so far on my "test" site it looks awesome!!

The article system, especially the fact that I could write php articles, was what sold me on TP in the first place. For me, the rest of it is fine, but nothing is as important as the articles.
