Most people would have both versions uploaded in /Themes/default/languages. No problem if this happens only with TP language files but with SMF language files it will result in twin appearance of the same language in selection menus, sometimes in distant positions. I believe that language files should only contain the files for one codepage only. That's the way for SMF files too.

Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't know about that. I've used both on my site and a couple of others that weren't utf8. I saw no problems so I figured it would be ok.

Thats right..if there are several index.language, SMF treats them as separate languages.

About TP section, it needs cleaning up badly. I will concentrate on that along with other site updates being worked on now.

I don't see a package for Portuguese in our downloads so I would say yes we do need it. If you translate it, feel free to upload it to the downloads when you are done and I'll approve it. :up:

Due some private life issues i cant (for now) do translation to portuguese. I know there´s already some guys on it and soon will be rdy for download, so keep good work.
