Hi,

I open this topic for feedback and may be, if considered, be in the new TP, i hope...

Currently, many discuss about recent topics in the frontpage, but I would like to know if these are available or possible as well:
(Basically I took this ideas from smf mod for mambo - http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=81152.msg541419#msg541419)

I guess it will be easy for those with good programming language to modify the mod for the use in SMF/TP frontpage. I believe it will make the frontpage look nicer and more complete.

1. Recent posts. (To display the last 5 posts made in the SMF/TP Forum.)
2. Recent topics. (To display the last 5 Topics posted to in the SMF/TP Forum.)
3. New topics. (To display the last 5 NEW Topics posted in the SMF/TP Forum.)
4. Top topics. (To display the top 5 Topics posted to in the SMF/TP Forum.)
5. Top Posters (To display the top x number posters along with their current post count.)
6. Events. (To display the holidays, birthdays and events from the SMF calendar)
7. Show Calendar. (To display the SMF calendar in miniature.)

Please give your good response as always. ;)

All of that you can allready find in the block code and snippets board and add in to any where you want them to show in a block or article.
